4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Aokeo V400 Wireless Microphone System.

  1. Connect the Receiver: Place the receiver in a stable location. Connect the two antennas to the designated aerial ports on the back of the receiver. Connect the power cable to the receiver and then to a power outlet.
  2. Connect to Audio Equipment: Use the provided 6.35mm audio cable to connect the receiver's 'LINE OUT' port to the input of your speaker, mixer, power amplifier, or sound card. For individual microphone outputs, use XLR cables (not included) to connect the balanced outputs (MIC A, B, C, D) to your audio equipment.
  3. Power On the Receiver: Press the power button on the receiver to turn it on. The LED screens should illuminate.
  4. Insert Batteries into Microphones: Unscrew the bottom part of each handheld microphone and insert two AA batteries, observing the correct polarity.
  5. Power On Microphones: Long press the power button on each microphone for 2 seconds to turn it on. The microphone's LED screen will display its channel and frequency.
  6. Automatic Pairing: The microphones will automatically connect to the receiver. When a microphone is successfully connected, the corresponding AF/RF signal light on the receiver will turn red. When the microphone is actively transmitting audio, the receiver's light will flash yellow.
  7. Adjust Volume: Before use, adjust the individual volume knobs (VOL.A, VOL.B, VOL.C, VOL.D) on the receiver to a low level, then gradually increase to your desired volume.

5.1 General Usage

  • Hold the microphone approximately 2-6 inches from your mouth for optimal sound pickup.
  • Avoid covering the microphone grille with your hand, as this can affect sound quality and signal.
  • The system offers a stable wireless range of up to 200 feet (60 meters) in open outdoor environments. Performance may vary indoors due to obstacles and interference.

5.2 Volume Control

Each microphone channel has an independent volume control knob on the receiver. Adjust these knobs to balance the audio levels of each microphone as needed.
