2. Safety Precautions

To prevent injury or damage, always follow these basic safety precautions:

  • Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches your local power supply before connecting.
  • Always place the electric pot on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from edges.
  • Do not operate the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any way.
  • Keep out of reach of children. The auto-lock function helps prevent accidental dispensing.

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the electric pot and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Fill the pot with water to the MAX line, boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Placement: Place the electric pot on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for ventilation.
  4. Connect Power: Attach the magnetic power cord to the appliance and then plug it into a standard AC100V 50/60Hz power outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Water Dispensing

The electric pot offers adjustable water dispensing levels (I and II) to suit different needs, from single servings to multiple cups for guests.

  1. Ensure the pot is filled with water and powered on.
  2. Place your cup or container under the dispensing spout.
  3. Press the dispensing button on the control panel. The auto-lock feature requires you to press and hold the unlock button first, then press the dispense button.
  4. Release the button when the desired amount of water is dispensed.

5.2. Keep Warm Function (Temperature Selection)

The pot features a 4-stage keep warm function, allowing you to maintain water at optimal temperatures for various beverages.

  1. After boiling, the pot will automatically enter keep warm mode.
  2. Use the temperature selection buttons on the control panel to choose your desired temperature: 70°C, 80°C, 90°C, or 98°C.
  3. The selected temperature will be maintained until manually changed or the unit is powered off.

5.3. Reboil Mode

The reboil mode quickly brings water back to boiling temperature, useful when you need hot water immediately or after a long period in keep warm mode.

  1. Press the 'Reboil' button on the control panel.
  2. The water will quickly heat up to boiling point.
  3. Once boiled, the pot will return to the previously selected keep warm temperature.

5.4. ECO Mode

For energy saving, the ECO mode automatically turns off the power if there is no operation for 8 hours. This helps conserve energy when the pot is not actively used for extended periods.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your electric pot.

  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  • Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Over time, mineral deposits (scale) may build up inside the pot. To descale, use a commercial descaling agent suitable for electric kettles/pots, or a mixture of water and white vinegar/citric acid. Follow the product instructions for descaling. Rinse thoroughly after descaling.
  • Lid and Spout: Clean the lid and dispensing spout regularly to prevent blockages.
  • Always ensure the appliance is unplugged and cooled down before cleaning.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your electric pot, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
