6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Laser Lens
Regularly inspect and clean the laser lens using a soft, lint-free cloth and a specialized lens cleaning solution. A dirty lens can reduce laser power and engraving quality.
6.2. Cleaning the Machine
Keep the machine's frame, rails, and moving parts free from dust, debris, and material residue. Use a soft brush or compressed air. Ensure the machine is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
6.3. Air Assist System Maintenance
Periodically check the air assist pump and tubing for blockages or wear. Ensure a consistent airflow to maintain optimal cutting performance and prevent material yellowing.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not power on | Power cable disconnected, faulty adapter, emergency stop engaged. | Check all power connections. Ensure the power adapter is functional. Release the emergency stop button if pressed. |
| Laser not firing | Laser module cable loose, incorrect software settings (power too low), laser module fault. | Verify laser module connection. Check software settings for laser power. Contact support if the module is suspected to be faulty. |
| Poor engraving/cutting quality | Dirty laser lens, incorrect power/speed settings, material not flat, air assist not active. | Clean the laser lens. Adjust power and speed settings in software. Ensure material is flat and secure. Activate air assist for cutting. |
| Machine stops unexpectedly | Emergency stop activated, software error, overheating, cable disconnection. | Check if the emergency stop button is pressed. Restart software and machine. Ensure proper ventilation. Check all cable connections. |
| No power supply included (as per some user feedback) | Packaging error or regional variation. | Verify package contents against the list. If missing, contact ATOMSTACK customer support immediately for a replacement or guidance. |
