1. Introduction

3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires approximately 45 minutes to 2 hours. It is recommended that two people assemble the desk. A drill is recommended for faster assembly, though all necessary tools are included.

This video provides a step-by-step walkthrough of the assembly process, including frame installation, desktop attachment, and electrical connections.

3.2. Step-by-Step Assembly Guide

  1. Frame Installation:
    • Place the packaging box on the floor to use as a stable surface.
    • Attach the two main legs (A and B) to the crossbar. Ensure the motor faces upwards and the side with the four bigger holes faces towards the end of the pillars.
    • Insert the thrust rod into the motor and then into both legs.
    • Secure the frame components using the provided screws and Allen key. Do not fully tighten screws until all components are aligned.
  2. Desktop Installation:
    • Assemble the desktop panels. Attach the wooden dowels and screws to connect the main desktop pieces.
    • Attach the metal connecting plates to the underside of the desktop panels using screws.
    • Carefully place the assembled desktop onto the frame, aligning the pre-drilled holes with the frame's mounting points.
    • Secure the desktop to the frame by tightening all screws.
  3. Electrical Connection & Cable Management:
    • Attach the control panel to the underside of the desk, on the same side as the motor.
    • Connect the motor cable and power adapter to the control panel.
    • Use the provided cable clips and ties to manage and secure all cables neatly under the desk.
  4. Drawer Assembly:
    • Unfold the fabric drawers and insert the bottom support panels.
    • Place the assembled drawers into their designated slots on the top shelf.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Height Adjustment

The BANTI Electric Standing Desk features an electric lifting mechanism for smooth height adjustments. The height range is from 27.6 inches to 45.06 inches.

  • Press the Up (^) button to raise the desk.
  • Press the Down (v) button to lower the desk.

4.2. Memory Presets

The desk allows you to save up to two preferred height settings for quick adjustments.

  • Adjust the desk to your desired height.
  • Press and hold one of the Memory (1 or 2) buttons for 3 seconds until you hear a beep or see the display flash. The height is now saved.
  • To recall a saved height, simply press the corresponding memory button (1 or 2). The desk will automatically move to the saved position.

4.3. Anti-Collision Function

The motorized system includes an anti-collision function for safety. If the desktop encounters an obstruction during upward or downward movement, it will automatically stop and slightly rebound to prevent damage to the desk or objects.

  • Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
  • Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 155 pounds to prevent damage to the lifting mechanism.
