2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Power On/Off
- To power on: Press the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol ⏻). The display will show "0.0" or "0g" when ready.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds. The scale will also automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
2.2 Unit Conversion
The scale supports multiple units of measurement. To switch between units:
- With the scale powered on, press the UNIT button (often labeled "UNIT" or "U").
- Each press will cycle through the available units: g (grams), kg (kilograms), ml (milliliters), lb (pounds), oz (ounces), lb:oz (pounds and ounces).
- Select the desired unit for your measurement.

2.3 Tare Function
The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or previous ingredients, enabling you to measure subsequent items accurately.
- Place an empty container on the center of the scale platform. The display will show the container's weight.
- Press the TARE button (often labeled "T" or "TARE"). The display will reset to "0.0" or "0g".
- Add the item(s) you wish to weigh into the container. The display will now show only the net weight of the added item(s).

To weigh items directly:
- Ensure the scale is on a flat surface and powered on, displaying "0.0".
- Place the item(s) directly onto the center of the scale platform.
- Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen.
