4.4 Chime Pairing
The included chimes are typically pre-paired with the doorbell. If not, refer to the chime's individual instructions or the XTU app for pairing procedures.

Figure 4.1: Two Mounting Options - Drill or Adhesive. This image illustrates the doorbell camera being mounted on a door frame, showing both adhesive and screw mounting possibilities. Below, a series of smaller images demonstrate adjustable mounting angles from -45° to +45°, allowing for optimal camera positioning.
4.5.1 Adhesive Installation (Drill-Free)
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
- Apply the adhesive tape firmly to the back of the mounting bracket.
- Press the mounting bracket firmly onto the desired location on your door frame or wall for at least 30 seconds.
- Slide the doorbell camera onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place.
4.5.2 Screw Installation
- Position the mounting bracket at the desired location and mark the screw holes.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary, and insert wall anchors.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
- Slide the doorbell camera onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place.
Consider using the adjustable angle mounts (sold separately or included in some kits) to optimize the camera's field of view, especially if mounting on an angled surface.
