5. Operating Instructions

Your BesLowe outdoor wall light features an advanced PIR motion sensor and photocell sensor, offering three distinct lighting modes. The latest sensor design allows for easy one-press mode switching.

Switching Lighting Modes:

Locate the small button on the top of the fixture. A simple click will cycle through the available modes:

  • Dual-bright Mode: The light stays at 40% brightness at night (adjustable from 15-50%). When motion is detected, it increases to 100% brightness. After motion ceases, it returns to 40%.
  • ON/OFF Mode: The light remains off until motion is detected, then lights up at 100% brightness. It turns off again after no motion is detected.
  • Manual Override Mode: To activate this mode, quickly turn the wall switch "on-off-on" within 2 seconds. The light will stay at 100% brightness for 6-8 hours, regardless of motion, then automatically turn off at dawn and revert to the previously selected mode (Dual-bright or ON/OFF).

Adjusting Brightness (Dual-bright Mode):

In Dual-bright mode, you can adjust the low-level brightness (15-50%) by long-pressing the mode switch button on the fixture.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning:

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your light fixture, clean it periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish or glass. The durable metal construction and sturdy glass are designed for easy cleaning.

Bulb Replacement:

Thanks to the open-bottom design, replacing the E26 base bulb is simple. Ensure the power is off before replacing the bulb. Use an E26 base bulb with a maximum wattage of 100W. Dimmable LED or incandescent bulbs are recommended for optimal performance, especially when utilizing the Dual-bright mode.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your BesLowe Motion Sensor Outdoor Wall Light, please consider the following common solutions:

  • Light Not Turning On: Check the power supply at the circuit breaker. Ensure the bulb is correctly installed and not faulty. Verify the selected lighting mode is appropriate for current light conditions (e.g., ON/OFF mode will not activate without motion).
  • Motion Sensor Not Responding: Ensure the sensor is clean and unobstructed. Confirm the light is in a motion-sensing mode (Dual-bright or ON/OFF). Test the sensor's range and sensitivity.
  • Light Stays On Continuously: Check if the Manual Override mode has been activated. If so, the light will remain on for 6-8 hours. Ensure the photocell sensor is not obstructed, as it might detect darkness prematurely.
  • Difficulty Switching Modes: Ensure you are pressing the mode button correctly. For Manual Override, the "on-off-on" sequence on the wall switch must be performed within 2 seconds.

If problems persist after attempting these steps, please contact BesLowe customer support for further assistance.

Your BesLowe Motion Sensor Outdoor Wall Light comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.
