4. Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly of the FDW Criss Cross Chair is straightforward and typically takes about 10-30 minutes. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Prepare the Base: Place the chair base (with the cross-legged design) on a flat, stable surface. Ensure the non-slip bottom pads are facing down.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Insert the wider end of the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the chair base. Press down firmly to secure it.
3. Attach Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully align the center mechanism of the seat cushion with the top (narrower) end of the gas lift cylinder. Gently lower the seat onto the gas lift until it is seated securely.
4. Attach Backrest: Position the backrest against the rear of the seat cushion. Align the screw holes on the backrest with the corresponding holes on the seat's frame. Insert the provided screws and tighten them using the Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Height Adjustment

To adjust the chair's height:

• To Raise: While standing, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
• To Lower: While seated, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will lower. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.

5.2 Swivel Function

The chair features a 360-degree swivel function, allowing for easy movement and access to different areas of your workspace without needing to reposition the entire chair.

5.3 Rocking Function (Tilt Tension)

• Locate the round knob under the seat, typically at the front or center.
• Turn the knob clockwise to increase the tension, making it harder to recline.
• Turn the knob counter-clockwise to decrease the tension, allowing for easier reclining.
