Assembly and Accessories
Your Onyx Prime figure comes with several accessories that can be used in various modes.
Spear Assembly
- Locate the spear handle and spear tip.
- Insert the spear tip into the designated opening on the spear handle until it is securely attached. Note that one side of the spear tip has green paint applications.
- The assembled spear can be held by the figure in robot and centaur modes by aligning the pegs on the spear with the slots in the figure's hands.
Tail/Bow Accessory
- The tail accessory can be attached to the figure's back in robot mode by opening the rear flap and pegging it in.
- To convert the tail into a bow:
- Split the tail accessory in half.
- Insert the spear (assembled) into the central slot of the split tail piece, aligning the pegs. This forms the bow with an arrow.
- The bow can be held by the figure in robot or centaur mode.
Operating Instructions: Transformation
Onyx Prime is a triple changer, capable of transforming between Robot, Centaur, and Beast modes. Follow these steps carefully for each transformation.
Robot Mode Features
In robot mode, Onyx Prime stands approximately 7.5 inches tall. It features articulated head, arms, and legs for dynamic posing. The wings are articulated and can be positioned for various poses. The figure's head has an animal-style helmet with red eyes and a silver face, and the body features biomechanical sculpting with fur, feathers, and metallic elements.
Transformation to Centaur Mode (12 Steps)
- Begin with the figure in robot mode.
- Open the front and rear waist flaps.
- Rotate the robot head upwards to clear space.
- Bring the two smaller, folded legs (located on the robot's shoulders) forward.
- Rotate the robot's arms forward and out of the way, utilizing the double hinge at the shoulders.
- Swing the extra legs down and around the robot's waist, positioning them as the front legs of the centaur.
- Bend the figure at the waist, bringing the upper body forward.
- For the robot's original legs (now the centaur's rear legs), extend the knee sections fully upwards and then downwards until they lock into place, forming the animalistic hind legs.
- Adjust the hooves on all four legs as needed.
- Return the shoulder sections to their original position, ensuring they blend with the centaur's upper body.
- The tail accessory can be pegged into the top of the centaur's rear section.
- To reveal the battle mask, push the silver face inwards on the robot head.
Transformation to Beast Mode (19 Steps from Robot Mode)
To transform from Centaur Mode to Beast Mode:
- From Centaur mode, ensure the robot head is rotated upwards.
- Bring the dragon head (located on the robot's back) down and forward to form the beast's head.
- Take the chest piece and bring it up and over the robot face, covering it completely.
- Position the robot's arms forward, opening the hands to form the beast's front claws.
- Adjust the four legs to a crawling or flying stance as desired.
- Ensure the tail accessory is pegged into the top of the figure's rear section.
- Spread the wings for a flying beast appearance.
In Beast Mode, the figure has a dragon-like head with silver fangs and red eyes. The mouth can open and close, and the head can rotate. The spear accessory can be stored on the back by pegging it into the slots on the wings.
