Setup

1. Powering the Mixer/Receiver Unit

2. Installing Batteries in Microphones

  1. Unscrew the bottom part of each wireless microphone.

  3. Screw the bottom part back onto the microphone.
  4. Turn on the microphones using their respective power switches. The display on the microphone will light up.

3. Connecting to an Audio System

The K202 mixer can connect to various audio systems using 3.5mm AUX, Optical, or Coaxial inputs. Choose the appropriate connection for your setup.

  • Using AUX (3.5mm): Connect an audio cable from your music source (e.g., phone, tablet, PC) to the AUX IN port on the mixer. Connect another 3.5mm audio cable from the AUX OUT port on the mixer to the audio input of your speaker, amplifier, or PA system.
  • Using Optical: Connect an optical audio cable from your TV or Blu-ray player's optical output to the OPTICAL IN port on the mixer. Connect the mixer's AUX OUT to your speaker system.
  • Using Coaxial: Connect a coaxial audio cable from your TV or other device's coaxial output to the COAXIAL IN port on the mixer. Connect the mixer's AUX OUT to your speaker system.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Audio Levels

  • MUSIC Volume: Rotate the MUSIC knob to adjust the volume of the background music playing through the connected audio source.
  • MIC A/B Volume: Rotate the MIC A and MIC B knobs to control the individual volumes of each wireless microphone.
  • Echo: Use the ECHO knob to add or reduce the echo effect on the microphone audio.
  • Tone: Adjust the TONE knob to modify the treble and bass balance of the microphone audio for a clearer sound.

2. Microphone Usage and Range

The wireless microphones operate on Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) for stable transmission.

  • Hold the microphone approximately 2-4 inches from your mouth for optimal sound pickup.
  • Avoid covering the microphone grille with your hand to prevent muffled sound.
  • The system offers an operation range of up to 100 feet line-of-sight. Obstacles may reduce this range.
  • The system features 16 selectable frequencies. If you experience interference, consult the troubleshooting section for frequency adjustment.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the mixer and microphones. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
