3. Setup

3.1 Initial Power-Up and Network Connection

Connect the main control panel to a power source using the provided adapter. The system will power on automatically. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the system to your Wi-Fi network and configure GSM/4G settings if you plan to use a SIM card for cellular backup.

Insert a SIM card into the designated slot for 4G/GSM connectivity.

3.2 Setting Keypad Lock

To enhance security, you can set a keypad lock on the main control panel. This requires a password to access system settings.

3.3 Accessory Pairing

3.3.1 Remote Control Pairing

To pair a remote control:

1. From the main menu, navigate to Parts > Remote.
2. Select Add.
3. Press any button on the remote control to initiate pairing. The system will confirm 'Learning OK'.

3.3.2 RFID Tag Pairing

To pair an RFID tag:

1. From the main menu, navigate to Parts > RFID.
2. Select Add.
3. Place the RFID tag on the corresponding RFID position of the host for sensing. The system will confirm 'Learning OK'.

3.3.3 Door/Window Sensor (Magnetic Door) Pairing

To pair a magnetic door/window sensor:

1. From the main menu, navigate to Parts > Detector.
2. Select Add.
3. Choose 'Door Alarm' in the first line and 'Out Arm Active' in the second line.
4. Confirm the settings. Separate the two parts of the door sensor to successfully pair.

Door/window sensors provide alerts when opened while the system is armed.

3.3.4 PIR Motion Detector (Infrared Detector) Pairing

To pair an infrared motion detector:

1. Turn on the switch of the infrared detector and allow it to complete its self-test.
2. From the main menu, navigate to Parts > Detector.
3. Select Add.
4. Choose 'Panic Alarm' in the first line and '24 Hours Active' in the second line.
5. Confirm the settings. Swipe your hand in front of the detector to complete pairing.

PIR motion detectors sense movement within their detection range.

3.3.5 SOS Button Pairing

To pair an SOS button:

1. From the main menu, navigate to Parts > Detector.
2. Select Add.
3. Choose 'Panic Alarm' in the first line and '24 Hours Active' in the second line.
4. Confirm the settings. Press the SOS button to complete pairing.

The SOS button provides an immediate panic alarm when pressed.

3.3.6 Doorbell Pairing

To pair a doorbell:

1. From the main menu, navigate to Parts > Detector.
2. Select Add.
3. Choose 'Living Room Alarm' in the first line and 'Doorbell' in the second line.
4. Confirm the settings. Press the doorbell button to complete pairing.

3.3.7 Wireless Sound and Light Siren Pairing

To pair a wireless siren:

1. Turn on the siren switch. Long press the SET button until you hear three beeps.
2. From the main menu, navigate to Parts > Siren Learn.
3. Confirm the settings. The siren will confirm 'Learning OK'.

3.3.8 Smoke Detector Pairing

To pair a smoke detector:

1. Press and hold the button on the smoke detector until it beeps.
2. From the main menu, navigate to Parts > Detector.
3. Select Add.
4. Choose 'Gas Alarm' in the first line and '24 Hours Active' in the second line.
5. Confirm the settings. The system will confirm 'Learning OK'.

4. Operation

4.1 Arming and Disarming the System

The PGST security system offers multiple ways to arm and disarm, providing flexibility for your daily routine:

• Main Control Panel: Use the keypad to manually arm or disarm.
• Remote Control: Press the arm or disarm button on your paired remote control.
• RFID Tag: Tap your paired RFID tag on the main control panel to arm or disarm.
• Mobile App: Use the "Smart Life" or "Tuya" app to remotely arm, disarm, or set alarm modes.
• Scheduled Arm/Disarm: Set specific times for the system to automatically arm or disarm, aligning with your schedule (e.g., arm when you leave for work, disarm when you return).

4.2 Receiving Alerts and Notifications

When an alarm is triggered, the system will notify you through various channels:
