AQQA Automatic Aquarium Fish Feeder (Model AQ130) Instruction Manual

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the AQQA Automatic Aquarium Fish Feeder. This device is designed to provide convenient and reliable feeding for your aquarium fish, especially when you are away. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and longevity of your feeder.

2. Product Overview

The AQQA Automatic Fish Feeder features a 250ml capacity food container and adjustable feeding settings. It is constructed from food-grade ABS material for the health and safety of your fish.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your AQQA Automatic Fish Feeder:

  1. Fill the Food Container: Open the lid of the food container and fill it with your desired fish food (pellets, chips, bars, or flakes). Ensure the lid is closed tightly after filling.

  3. Assemble the Fixed Holder: Attach the fixed holder to the main feeder unit.

  5. Adjust Feeding Quantity: Use the gear switch on the side of the feeder to adjust the size of the food outlet, controlling the amount of food dispensed.

  7. Adjust Holder Width: Adjust the width of the fixed holder to securely fit your aquarium glass. The maximum compatible glass thickness is 1.0 inch (25mm).

  9. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment and insert the required batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity.

  11. Mount the Feeder: Fix the feeder in a suitable position on your fish tank, ensuring the food outlet is above the water surface and food can drop freely.

4. Operating Instructions

The feeder offers both automatic and manual feeding modes.

4.1 Automatic Feeding

To set the automatic feeding schedule:

  • Short press the ON/OFF/Timing button to cycle through the available timing modes: 8H (every 8 hours), 12H (every 12 hours), 24H (every 24 hours), or 48H (every 48 hours).
  • The selected timing mode will be displayed on the feeder. The feeder will dispense food automatically at the set intervals.

4.2 Manual Feeding

To manually dispense food:

  • Press the power switch (ON/OFF/Timing button) when the feeder is on. This will dispense a single portion of food immediately.
  • Note: There must be an interval of more than 30 seconds between two manual feedings.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the food container and the food outlet to prevent blockages and ensure hygienic feeding. Use a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main feeder unit in water.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the feeder's performance declines or the display indicates low power.
  • Food Storage: Ensure fish food is dry before loading into the feeder to prevent clumping, especially with flake food. For flakes, it is recommended to cut them smaller for even distribution.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Consider using a different food type or breaking down larger flakes.
Feeder not turning on.

  • Check battery polarity and replace if necessary.
