4. Monitor Operation: Ensure the pump remains submerged during operation. The low suction base allows the pump to remove water down to 0.4 inches, but continuous dry running will damage the motor. The pump's thermal protection will automatically shut it off if it overheats and will restart after cooling down.

5. Stop the Pump: To stop the pump, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
