1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before operating the LUFTRUM C3500 Air Purifier. Retain this manual for future reference.

  • Always place the air purifier on a firm, level surface.
  • Keep the unit away from water or damp areas.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain at least 15 cm (6 inches) clearance from walls and furniture.
  • Unplug the air purifier before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

The LUFTRUM C3500 Air Purifier is designed to improve indoor air quality by removing airborne particles and odors. It features a dual 3-stage filtration system and intelligent air quality monitoring.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all plastic bags and protective materials.
  3. Ensure all components are present.

3.2 Filter Installation

The LUFTRUM C3500 uses a dual filter system. Filters are typically pre-installed but may be wrapped in plastic for shipping. Remove all plastic packaging from the filters before use.

  1. Locate the filter covers on the sides of the unit. These covers are designed with a magnetic closure and easy-grasp handles.
  2. Gently pull the handles to remove the side covers.
  3. Remove the old filters (if any) or the new filters from their plastic packaging.
  4. Insert the new filters into the designated slots, ensuring they are oriented correctly. The dual filter system doubles the filter's surface area for enhanced performance.
  5. Replace the side covers, ensuring they snap securely into place with the magnetic design.

3.3 Placement

Place the air purifier in a location where it can effectively circulate air. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture to ensure optimal airflow.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

  • Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
  • Fan Speed Button: Cycles through 4 fan speed settings.
  • Sleep Mode Button: Activates quiet operation for nighttime use.
  • Auto Mode Button: Automatically adjusts fan speed based on air quality.
  • Filter Indicator: Lights up when filter replacement is needed.
  • AQI Indicator: Displays real-time air quality (Good, Moderate, Unhealthy).

4.2 Power On/Off

Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the Power Button once to turn the air purifier on. Press it again to turn the unit off.

4.3 Auto Mode

Press the Auto Mode Button to activate. In Auto Mode, the built-in PM2.5 sensor continuously monitors the surrounding air quality. The fan speed will automatically adjust based on the detected air quality levels:

  • Green: Good air quality, low fan speed.
  • Yellow: Moderate air quality, medium fan speed.
  • Red: Unhealthy air quality, high fan speed.

4.4 Sleep Mode

Press the Sleep Mode Button to enter Sleep Mode. In this mode, the air purifier operates at its lowest fan speed (20dB) for quiet operation, and display lights are dimmed or turned off to ensure an undisturbed environment.

4.5 Manual Fan Speed Adjustment

Press the Fan Speed Button to manually cycle through the 4 available fan speed settings (Low, Medium, High, Turbo).

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Washable Pre-filter

The pre-filter is designed to capture larger particles like pet hair and dander and is washable. Regular cleaning extends the life of the other filters.

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the side covers and carefully take out the pre-filters.
  3. Rinse the pre-filters under running water until clean.
  4. Allow the pre-filters to air dry completely before reinstalling them. Do not use a dryer or heat.
  5. Reinstall the dry pre-filters and secure the side covers.

5.2 Replacing the H13 HEPA and Activated Carbon Filters

The True H13 HEPA and Activated Carbon filters are not washable and must be replaced periodically. The Filter Indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when replacement is needed (typically every 6-8 months, depending on usage and air quality).

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the side covers and carefully take out the old filters.
  3. Dispose of the old filters responsibly.
  4. Install new LUFTRUM replacement filters (Model: B0DKNW2R8B). Ensure all plastic packaging is removed from the new filters.
  5. Reinstall the side covers.
  6. Plug in the air purifier. Press and hold the Filter Indicator Button for 3-5 seconds to reset the filter life counter. The indicator light will turn off.

Note: For optimal performance and longevity, use official LUFTRUM replacement filters B0DKNW2R8B. Off-brand filters may not fit properly and could damage the air purifier or reduce its effectiveness.

5.3 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
