2. Setup

Follow these steps to connect your GTMEDIA portable monitor to a compatible device.

Connecting to Devices

The monitor supports connectivity via Mini HDMI and dual Type-C ports. Ensure your device has compatible output ports.

• For Laptops/PCs (HDMI): Connect the Mini HDMI to HDMI cable from the monitor's Mini HDMI port to your laptop's/PC's HDMI port. For power, connect the USB C to USB A cable from one of the monitor's Type-C ports to a USB-A port on your device or a power adapter.
• For Laptops/Smartphones (USB-C): If your device supports video output via USB-C (DisplayPort Alternate Mode), connect the USB C to USB C cable from the monitor's Type-C port to your device's USB-C port. This single cable can often provide both video and power. If additional power is needed, connect a power adapter to the other Type-C port on the monitor.
• For Gaming Consoles (PS4, XBOX, Switch): Connect via Mini HDMI for video. For Nintendo Switch, a separate power supply to the monitor via USB-C is required for optimal performance.

Using the Smart Cover

The included smart cover is made of durable PU leather and serves as both protection and a stand for the monitor.

• To use as a stand: Attach the back panel of the screen to the magnetic area of the case. Place the bottom of the screen inwards into the groove of the case. Fold the notch of the case against the screen to prevent it from slipping off.
• For protection: When not in use, wrap the case completely around the screen.

3. Operating the Monitor

Display Modes

The monitor supports various display configurations depending on your connected device:

• Duplicate Mode: Mirrors the content of your primary screen.
• Extend Mode: Expands your desktop workspace, allowing you to drag windows between screens.
• Second Screen Mode: Projects content from a mobile device, such as a smartphone.

On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

Orientation
