1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Soundcore Select 2S Portable Bluetooth Speaker. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your device. The Soundcore Select 2S delivers 20W stereo sound, features BassUp technology for enhanced bass, offers up to 16 hours of playtime, and is IPX7 waterproof, making it suitable for various environments and activities.

Controls and Indicators:

• Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
• Bluetooth Button: Press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
• Volume Down (-): Decrease volume.
• Play/Pause Button: Play or pause audio.
• Volume Up (+): Increase volume.
• BassUp Button: Activate or deactivate BassUp technology.
• USB-C Charging Port: For charging the speaker.
• LED Indicators: Show power, Bluetooth status, and charging status.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging Your Speaker

1. Open the protective flap on the side of the speaker to access the USB-C charging port.
2. Connect one end of the provided USB-C to C cable to the speaker's charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB wall charger (not included) or a powered USB port.
4. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.
5. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and ensure the protective flap is securely closed to maintain IPX7 waterproofing.

4.2 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. The power indicator will light up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. The power indicator will turn off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. When powered on, the speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, and the Bluetooth indicator will flash blue.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Soundcore Select 2S" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will turn solid blue, and you will hear an audible confirmation.
5. To pair with another device, press the Bluetooth button once to enter pairing mode again.

5. Operating Your Speaker

5.1 Basic Audio Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• Volume Up: Press the Volume Up (+) button.
• Volume Down: Press the Volume Down (-) button.
• Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up (+) button for 2 seconds.
• Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button for 2 seconds.

5.2 BassUp Technology

The Soundcore Select 2S features BassUp technology to enhance low frequencies for a deeper, more resonant sound experience.

• Activate BassUp: Press the BassUp button once. The BassUp indicator will light up.
• Deactivate BassUp: Press the BassUp button once again. The BassUp indicator will turn off.

5.3 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

You can pair two Soundcore Select 2S speakers together for an immersive stereo sound experience.

1. Ensure both Soundcore Select 2S speakers are powered on.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds until the Bluetooth indicator flashes white.
3. On the second speaker, press the Bluetooth button once. It will automatically search for the primary speaker.
4. Once successfully paired, both speakers will emit a confirmation tone, and the Bluetooth indicator on the primary speaker will flash blue, while the secondary speaker's Bluetooth indicator will turn solid blue.
5. Connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 4.3.

5.4 Customizable 9-Band EQ

For advanced audio customization, download the Soundcore app. The app allows you to adjust the 9-band equalizer to tailor the sound profile to your preferences or specific music genres.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Always power off the speaker before cleaning.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior of the speaker.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface.
• Ensure the charging port and protective flap are free of dust and debris.

6.2 Storage

• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for an extended period, charge the battery at least once every 3 months to prolong its lifespan.

• The speaker is IPX7 rated, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
• For optimal waterproofing, ensure the rubber cover for the charging port is securely sealed before exposure to water.
• After exposure to water, dry the speaker thoroughly before charging or opening the port cover.
