Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically takes 15-20 minutes. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of the five-star aluminum base until they click securely into place.
- Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled five-star base.
- Attach Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the seat cushion assembly onto the top of the gas lift. Ensure it is centered and stable.
- Attach Backrest: Align the backrest with the attachment points on the seat mechanism. Secure it using the provided bolts and Allen wrench.
- Attach Armrests: The 4D adjustable armrests are integrated into the chair's base. Ensure they are properly aligned and secured according to the diagram.
- Attach Headrest: Slide the adjustable headrest into the designated slots at the top of the backrest. Adjust to your preferred height.

Operating Your Chair
The COLAMY Hina chair offers multiple adjustments for personalized comfort and ergonomic support:
1. Seat Height Adjustment
To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side under the seat. Pull the lever up to raise the seat. To lower the seat, remain seated and pull the lever up. Release the lever at your desired height.
2. Seat Depth Adjustment
The seat sliding feature allows you to adjust the seat depth. This ensures proper back support and leg positioning. Locate the lever on the left side under the seat. Pull the lever to slide the seat forward or backward. Release the lever to lock the seat in position.

3. Recline and Tilt Tension
The chair features a multi-tilter synchro mechanism with a three-position synchro-tilt lock (103°-137.5°). This allows for comfortable transitions between work and relaxation.
- Recline Lock: Use the lever on the left side (or as indicated by markings) to lock the backrest in one of the three recline positions.
- Tilt Tension Adjustment: The round knob under the seat (usually at the front) controls the tilt tension. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

4. 4D Adjustable Armrests
The integrated armrests are 4D adjustable, allowing movement in four directions: up/down, forward/backward, pivot in/out, and side-to-side. - Backrest Not Reclining/Locking: Verify that the recline lock lever is correctly positioned. Check the tilt tension knob to ensure it is not overtightened, preventing movement.
