1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the BITFUNX MINI-003 Flatbox Gaming Keypad, an all-button leverless controller designed for various gaming platforms. It features hot-swappable mechanical switches, customizable RGB lighting, and multiple input modes for a versatile gaming experience.

2. Key Features

3. Setup and Connection

To set up your BITFUNX MINI-003 controller, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the Controller: Use the included USB Type-C cable to connect the controller to your gaming device (PC, Switch, PS3, PS4, etc.). The cable is 200cm long for flexible placement.
  2. Select Input Mode: While plugging in the controller, hold one of the following buttons to select the desired input mode:
    • 1P: PS3/DInput
    • 2P: PS4
    • 1K: Nintendo Switch
    • 2K: PC/XInput (Steam)

4. Operation

4.1 Basic Button Configuration

The controller features 12 buttons, including directional inputs (Up, Left, Down, Right), action buttons (A, B, X, Y), shoulder buttons (RB, LB, RT, LT), and system buttons (RS, LS, Capture, Start, Select, Home, Turbo). All keys can be remapped and customized via the web configuration interface.

4.2 Directional Input Modes

To select the active directional pad mode when plugging in the controller, press:

  • SELECT + START + DOWN: Visual Helmet mode
  • SELECT + START + LEFT: Left analog stick
  • SELECT + START + RIGHT: Right analog stick

4.3 SOCD Modes

To select the active SOCD mode when the controller is plugged in, press:

4.4 RGB LED Customization

The Pico Fighting Board supports WS2812 and similar RGB LEDs. To change LED settings, use the following key combinations:

  • SELECT + START + 1P: Next Animation
  • SELECT + START + 1K: Previous Animation
  • SELECT + START + 2P: Brightness Up
  • SELECT + START + 2K: Brightness Down
  • SELECT + START + 3P: LED Parameter Up
  • SELECT + START + 3K: LED Parameter Down
  • SELECT + START + 4P: Pressed Parameter Up
  • SELECT + START + 4K: Pressed Parameter Down

4.5 Y-axis Flip Mode

To swap the Up and Down buttons, hold HOME + START + RIGHT while connecting the device.

4.6 Web Configuration

The controller features an embedded web configuration interface for advanced customization, including full button mapping, multiple profiles, and custom button combinations. 5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the controller. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Hot-Swap Switches: The controller supports hot-swappable mechanical switches. To replace a switch, gently pull the keycap off, then use a switch puller tool to remove the switch. Insert a new compatible mechanical switch, ensuring it is properly aligned before pressing it into place.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Controller Not Responding:
    • Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the controller and the gaming device.

  • Buttons Not Functioning Correctly:
