Setup and Installation
- Choose Power Outlet: Identify a suitable NEMA 6-20 (240V) or NEMA 5-15 (120V) outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and capable of handling the charger's amperage.
- Connect Charger to Outlet:
- For NEMA 6-20 outlets, directly plug the charger's NEMA 6-20 plug into the wall outlet.
- For NEMA 5-15 outlets, attach the provided NEMA 5-15 adapter to the charger's plug, then insert it into the wall outlet.
- Mounting (Optional): The charger unit can be mounted to a wall for convenience. Use appropriate hardware (not included) to secure the unit in a safe, accessible location, away from direct sunlight or heavy traffic.
- Cable Management: Utilize the 25ft extension cord to position your vehicle for charging. Ensure the cable is not a tripping hazard and is not pinched or run over.

Operating Instructions
- Initiate Charging: Once the charger is plugged into the wall outlet, open your Tesla's charging port. Insert the NACS connector firmly into the vehicle's charging inlet. The vehicle's indicator light and the charger's display will confirm a successful connection.
- Monitor Charging Status: The charger unit features indicator lights (Power, AC Output, Charge, Fault) to show the current status.
- Power: Indicates the unit is receiving power.
- Charge: Illuminates when actively charging the vehicle.
- Fault: Indicates an error or malfunction. Refer to troubleshooting if this light appears.
- Stop Charging: To stop charging, press the button on the NACS connector to release it from the vehicle's charging port. Disconnect the charger from the wall outlet when not in use.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
- Charger not powering on: Ensure the charger is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet. Check the circuit breaker.
- Vehicle not charging: Verify that the NACS connector is fully inserted into the vehicle's charging port. Check the charger's indicator lights for any fault signals. Ensure the vehicle's charging settings are correctly configured.
- Slow charging: Confirm you are using a NEMA 6-20 (240V) outlet for Level 2 charging. If using a NEMA 5-15 (120V) outlet, charging will be slower (Level 1).
- Overheating: If the charger unit feels excessively hot, disconnect it immediately. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit and that it is not exposed to direct sunlight during charging.
