Assembly and Initial Setup

Your Likebike Lander S Electric Bicycle arrives approximately 90% pre-assembled. The included tool kit contains all necessary items to complete the assembly. Refer to the provided instructions and diagrams for detailed steps.

Key Assembly Steps:

1. Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebar to the stem and secure it firmly.
2. Front Wheel Installation: Install the front wheel, ensuring the disc brake rotor is correctly aligned with the caliper.
3. Pedal Installation: Attach the pedals. Note that pedals are typically marked 'L' for left and 'R' for right, and thread in opposite directions.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

Press and hold the power button on the LCD display to turn the bicycle on or off.

Riding Modes:

The Lander S offers multiple riding modes to suit various preferences and terrains:

• Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): Provides 5 levels of motor assistance as you pedal. Select the desired level using the controls on the handlebar. This mode supports distances between 26 to 52 miles depending on the assist level and terrain.
• Throttle Mode: Engage the twist throttle for fully electric propulsion without pedaling.
• Classic Bike Mode: Ride the bicycle without any electrical assistance, functioning as a traditional bicycle.
• Cruise Mode: Activate cruise control for maintaining a constant speed.
• Walk Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for walking the bike.

Gear Shifting (Shimano 7-Speed):

The bicycle is equipped with a Shimano 7-speed gear system. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears, adapting to different inclines and speeds. Shift smoothly to avoid strain on the drivetrain.

LCD Display:

The large LCD display provides real-time riding information. Backlight brightness is adjustable for clear visibility day or night.

Braking System:

The Lander S features 180mm dual disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Apply both brake levers gently and evenly for controlled deceleration. Regularly check brake pad wear and cable tension.

Lights and Horn:

The bicycle is equipped with an LED headlight and taillight for improved visibility, especially during night riding. Use the electric horn to alert others when necessary.

Maintenance

Battery Care:

• Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
