Setup
1. Charging the Batteries
The camcorder comes with two Lithium Ion batteries. Before initial use, fully charge both batteries using the provided battery charger and USB cable. Insert both batteries into the charger, connect the USB cable to the charger, and then plug it into a power source. The charging indicator will change color when fully charged.
2. Installing the SD Card
Locate the SD card slot on the camcorder. Insert the provided 64GB SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation as indicated by the diagram near the slot. Close the slot cover securely.
3. Attaching the Hand-held Bracket
The hand-held bracket provides enhanced stability during filming. Attach the bracket to the tripod holder located at the bottom of the camcorder. Securely screw the bracket onto the camcorder. The bracket is foldable for convenient storage and transport.
4. Installing the External Microphone
For improved audio quality, attach the external microphone. The microphone can be installed into one of the cold shoe mounts on the camcorder or the hand-held bracket. Secure the microphone by tightening its bolt. Connect the microphone's 3.5mm jack cable to the 'MIC' port on the camcorder.
5. Installing the Fill Light
The fill light enhances illumination in low-light conditions. Remove the cold shoe clip from the camcorder's top cold shoe mount. Slide the fill light into the cold shoe mount and tighten its bolt to secure it. The fill light has its own power switch.
6. Attaching the Lens Hood
The lens hood helps to prevent lens flare and glare by blocking direct sunlight or other bright light sources from hitting the lens. The lens hood comes in two pieces that screw together. Once assembled, screw the lens hood onto the front of the camcorder's lens.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Camera
- Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for camera lenses. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion. For stubborn smudges, use a small amount of lens cleaning solution on the cloth, not directly on the lens.
- Screen: Wipe the LCD screen with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.
- Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the camera body. For tougher dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the ports or openings.
Storage
- Store the camcorder in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Remove the batteries if the camera will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Use the provided bag for protection against dust and scratches.
Troubleshooting
Camera does not power on:
- Ensure batteries are fully charged and correctly inserted.
- Check if the battery compartment cover is securely closed.
- Try using the second battery if available.
Poor image/video quality:
- Clean the lens and ensure it is free from smudges or dust.
- Check lighting conditions; use the fill light or IR night vision as appropriate.
- Verify that the selected video resolution and photo quality settings are optimal for your needs.
- Ensure the lens hood is properly attached to prevent glare.
No audio recording:
- Ensure the external microphone is securely connected to the 'MIC' jack.
- Check the microphone's power switch (if applicable) and ensure it is set to 'LOW' or 'HIGH'.
- Verify audio settings in the camcorder's menu.
Wi-Fi connection issues:
- Ensure the "SupCam Pro" App is installed on your smartphone/tablet.
- Restart both the camcorder and your smart device.
- Check Wi-Fi settings on both devices to ensure proper pairing.
