3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing and Component Check

Carefully unpack all components and verify that all items are present:

3.2 Charging the Battery

Before initial use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the cable to the camera's charging port and a standard 5V USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status.

3.3 Installation

The camera offers wire-free and flexible installation. Choose a location with optimal sunlight exposure for the solar panel and a clear view of the area you wish to monitor. Ensure the camera is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

1. Mark the drilling points on the wall using the mounting bracket as a template.
2. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
3. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with screws.

3.4 Network Connection

The camera requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for operation. It does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.

1. Download the DEKCO app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Create an account and log in.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or connecting to a temporary Wi-Fi hotspot created by the camera.
4. Ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the setup process.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Live View and PTZ Control

Access the live video feed through the DEKCO app. Use the on-screen controls to pan (360 degrees horizontally) and tilt (90 degrees vertically) the camera lens to adjust the viewing angle.

4.2 Motion Detection and Auto Tracking

4.3 Night Vision and Spotlight
