4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the monitor.
- Insert four (4) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2. Power Options
The monitor can be powered by the included AAA batteries or via the USB Type-C cable and USB plug. Please note that the device is not rechargeable. When using the USB Type-C cable, a continuous power connection is required for operation. For optimal performance, use the provided USB Type-C cable.
4.3. Cuff Selection and Connection
Choosing the correct cuff size is crucial for accurate readings. Measure your upper arm circumference and select the appropriate cuff:
- Small Cuff: 7"-9" (17-22 cm)
- Medium/Large Cuff: 9"-17" (22-42 cm)
- XL Extra Large Cuff: 13"-21" (33-53 cm)
Incorrect cuff size can lead to inaccurate measurements (e.g., a cuff that is too small may result in falsely high readings, and a cuff that is too large may result in falsely low readings).

To connect the cuff:
- Insert the air tube connector of the selected cuff firmly into the air jack on the side of the monitor.
4.4. Setting Date and Time
After installing batteries or connecting power, the monitor may prompt you to set the date and time. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for specific steps on navigating the settings menu using the 'MEM' and 'SET' buttons.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Before Taking a Measurement
- Avoid eating, drinking alcohol or caffeine, smoking, exercising, and bathing for 30 minutes before measurement.
