3. Setup & Installation

The Jansite Car Play Screen is designed for easy installation in most car models (12V-24V vehicle voltage required).

3.1. Power Connection

1. Ensure your vehicle's ignition is off.
2. Connect the provided power cord to the main unit.
3. Plug the cigarette lighter adapter into your vehicle's 12V-24V power outlet.

3.2. Mounting Options

Two types of brackets are included for flexible installation:

• Dashboard Mount: Use the adhesive sticker bracket to secure the unit to your dashboard. This bracket is designed to be stable and minimize shaking.
• Suction Cup Mount: For windshield mounting or if you prefer to save space on the center console.

Choose the mounting position that provides the best view without obstructing your driving vision.

3.3. Rear View Camera Installation

The 1080P rear camera provides a clear view for reversing. Connect the rear camera cable to the main unit's AV IN port. For automatic display when reversing, connect the red wire of the rear camera to the positive lead of your vehicle's reversing lamp.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

This device supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing you to access your smartphone's features safely while driving.

1. On the Jansite screen, select the 'CarPlay' or 'Android Auto' icon.
2. On your iPhone or Android phone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
3. Search for the device's Bluetooth name (e.g., "T86PRO-2608") on your phone and connect.
4. Once connected, CarPlay or Android Auto will launch automatically.

4.2. Voice Control

Utilize Siri or Google Assistant for hands-free control of your device and smartphone applications. This feature is accessible once CarPlay or Android Auto is connected.

4.3. Dash Cam Operation (4K Front & 1080P Rear)

The integrated dash cam records continuously when the device is powered on.

• Loop Recording: The system automatically overwrites the oldest footage when the TF card is full, ensuring continuous recording.
• G-sensor: In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the G-sensor will automatically lock the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten.
• 350° Rotatable Front Camera: Adjust the front camera's angle to record the front, side windows, or inside of the car.
• WiFi Connectivity: Download the companion app (e.g., "Vidure" for iOS/Android) to view and download recorded videos directly to your smartphone in real-time.

4.4. Mirror Link Function

The Mirror Link function allows you to display your smartphone's screen content directly onto the Jansite display. This is useful for viewing content not directly supported by CarPlay/Android Auto.

• iOS Mirror Link (AirPlay): For iOS 10+ devices. Select AirPlay on the screen, turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone, and select the device for screen mirroring.
• Android Mirror Link (Android Cast): For Android 11+ devices. Select Android Cast, scan the QR code to download the "TcLink" application, and follow the prompts to connect.

Note: Certain streaming applications like Netflix and YouTubeTV may not be available or function correctly via Mirror Link due to content protection policies.

4.5. Audio Output Options

The Jansite screen offers multiple ways to output audio to your car's sound system:

• Bluetooth to Car Speaker: The primary and recommended method for high-quality audio. Connect the device's Bluetooth to your car's stereo system.
• AUX Cable Input: For car models without Bluetooth, use the provided AUX cable to connect the device to your car's AUX input.
• FM Transmitter: Transmit audio wirelessly to your car's FM radio by tuning both the device and your car radio to the same FM frequency.
• Built-in Speaker: The device has a built-in speaker, but its sound quality is limited and not recommended for primary audio output.

4.6. Screen Features

• 10.26-inch Display: Provides a spacious touchscreen interface.
• Split Screen Functionality: Allows you to display two applications simultaneously, such as navigation and music, or a camera view alongside another app. This can be configured in the settings.
• Automatic Brightness Adjustment: The screen features a light-sensing design that automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient light conditions, improving visibility and reducing eye strain.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, for extended periods.
• Cable Management: Ensure all cables are securely connected and not pinched or tangled, which could lead to damage.
• Protective Film: The screen comes with a removable protective film. If you notice scratches, ensure it's not just on the film before assuming damage to the screen itself.
