Controls and Ports

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
  4. A full charge typically takes approximately 3-4 hours.

5.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns on.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns off.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.3 for stable wireless connection up to 66 feet.

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (the indicator light will flash rapidly).
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "COOPERS COP05A" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the indicator light will stop flashing.

5.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

For an immersive 360° stereo sound experience, you can pair two COOPERS COP05A speakers together.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS pairing button (often combined with the Mode button or a dedicated button, refer to your speaker's specific button layout if different).
  3. The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
  4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.3. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

5.5 Other Connectivity Options

  • TF Card Playback: Insert a MicroSD (TF) card with MP3 audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playback.
  • AUX-in Mode: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included) to the speaker's AUX-in port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX-in mode.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once.
  • Next Track: Long press the Volume Up button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the Volume Down button.

6.2 Volume Control

  • Increase Volume: Short press the Volume Up button.
  • Decrease Volume: Short press the Volume Down button.

6.3 RGB Lighting Control

The speaker features dynamic RGB lights that synchronize with your music.
