2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your hofstein Cardeira Floor Lamp.
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the lamp on a flat, stable surface.
4.2 Bulb Installation
The lamp requires four E27 bulbs (max 40W each).
- Ensure the lamp is disconnected from the power supply.
- Gently unscrew the top part of the raffia shade to access the bulb sockets.
- Screw the E27 bulbs clockwise into the sockets until they are secure. Do not overtighten.
- Carefully reattach the top part of the raffia shade.

4.3 Placement
Place the floor lamp on a stable, level surface in your desired indoor location. Ensure the power cable can reach an electrical outlet without being stretched or obstructed.

5. Operating Instructions
The hofstein Cardeira Floor Lamp is operated via a foot switch.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable 230V electrical outlet.
- Locate the foot switch on the power cable.
- Press the foot switch to turn the lamp ON.
- Press the foot switch again to turn the lamp OFF.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning
- Always disconnect the lamp from the power supply before cleaning.
- Wipe the metal base with a soft, dry cloth.
- For the raffia shade, use a soft brush or a dry cloth to gently remove dust. Do not use liquid cleaners, as they may damage the material.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2 Bulb Replacement
Refer to section 4.2 for instructions on how to replace the bulbs. Ensure you use E27 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 40W.
