Maintenance
Cleaning
Gently wipe the camera body with a soft, dry cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the film ejection slot clear of debris.
Storage
Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Camera not turning on: Check if the batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace with new AA batteries if necessary.
- Film not ejecting: Ensure there is film loaded in the camera and that the film compartment door is securely closed. Check the film counter to see if it indicates film remaining.
- Photos are too dark/light: The camera has automatic exposure. Ensure the flash is not covered and that you are shooting in appropriate lighting conditions. Natural light often yields the best results.
- Blank photos: This may indicate an issue with the film pack or the camera's internal mechanism. Try a new film pack.
