5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Juicing Fruits and Vegetables
- Prepare Ingredients: Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly. For the 5.3-inch wide feed chute, most whole fruits and vegetables like apples and oranges can be juiced without pre-cutting. For harder or fibrous ingredients (e.g., carrots, celery, ginger), it is recommended to cut them into smaller pieces to facilitate smoother juicing and prevent clogging. Remove large seeds or hard pits (e.g., avocado pits, peach pits).
- Load Hopper: Place the prepared ingredients into the 54oz large-capacity hopper.
- Start Juicing: Turn the control dial on the motor base to the "ON" position. The juicer will begin to process the ingredients.
- Use Food Pusher (if needed): For ingredients that do not feed automatically, gently use the food pusher to guide them down the chute. Do not force ingredients.
- Collect Juice and Pulp: Fresh juice will flow into the juice container, and dry pulp will be expelled into the pulp container.
- Finish: Once all ingredients are processed, turn the control dial to "OFF" and unplug the appliance.

5.2 Making Frozen Desserts (Sorbet)
Your Fretta juicer can also make delicious frozen desserts. Ensure fruits are fully frozen before use.
- Prepare Frozen Fruit: Use pre-frozen fruits like berries, bananas, or mangoes. Allow them to thaw slightly for 5-10 minutes to soften just enough to be processed.
- Load: Place the slightly thawed frozen fruit into the feed chute.
- Process: Turn the control dial to "ON". The juicer will process the frozen fruit into a sorbet-like consistency.
- Collect: The sorbet will come out of the juice spout. Collect it in a bowl.
- Serve: Serve immediately or freeze for later.

Video 5.3: Shows the versatility of the juicer in creating both fresh juice and frozen delights.
5.3 Reverse Function
If ingredients become jammed or the juicer stops during operation, use the "REV" (Reverse) function. Turn the dial to "REV" and hold it for a few seconds to clear the blockage. Release the dial to return to the "OFF" position, then switch back to "ON" to resume juicing. Do not hold the "REV" position for extended periods.
6. Cleaning & Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Fretta Juicer. It is recommended to clean the juicer immediately after each use.
- Unplug: Always unplug the juicer from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Disassemble: Disassemble all removable parts: lid, auger, strainer, and juicing bowl.
- Rinse: Rinse all disassembled parts under running water. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any pulp residue from the strainer and other components.
- Wash: For a more thorough clean, wash parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
- Storage: Store the assembled juicer in a dry, clean place.
