4. Setup and Installation

4.2 Installing the Downrod

- Secure the downrod to the fan motor assembly using the provided pin and screw. Ensure the pin is fully inserted and the screw is tightened.
- Slide the canopy over the downrod.
4.3 Mounting the Fan
- Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
- Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using the screws provided with the junction box. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened and can support the fan's weight. For wooden ceilings, use the additional screws provided.
- Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it from the mounting bracket.
