5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Variable Speed

The drill is activated by pressing the trigger switch. The speed is variable depending on how much the trigger is pressed.

5.2 Speed Selection (0-550 RPM / 0-1850 RPM)

The drill features a two-speed gearbox for different applications:

  • Low Speed (0-550 RPM): Select '1' on the speed selector. Ideal for screwdriving applications and drilling larger holes in softer materials where higher torque is required.
  • High Speed (0-1850 RPM): Select '2' on the speed selector. Suitable for drilling smaller holes and applications requiring higher speed with less torque.

5.3 Torque Adjustment (18+1 Settings)

The torque adjustment ring allows you to set the clutch to the appropriate torque for your application, preventing overtightening or stripping screws.

  • Rotate the torque adjustment ring to select one of the 18 torque settings. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials, higher numbers for larger screws or harder materials.
  • Select the drill symbol for drilling applications, which bypasses the clutch for maximum torque (42 N.m).

5.4 Forward/Reverse/Lock Switch

This switch controls the direction of rotation and locks the trigger for safety.

  • Forward: Push the switch to the left for clockwise rotation (for driving screws or drilling).
  • Reverse: Push the switch to the right for counter-clockwise rotation (for removing screws).
  • Lock: Place the switch in the center position to lock the trigger, preventing accidental startup. Always engage the lock when changing bits, making adjustments, or storing the tool.

5.5 LED Work Light

The integrated LED light automatically illuminates when the trigger is pressed, providing visibility in dimly lit work areas.
