Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your siren horn:
1. Mounting
- Choose a suitable mounting location on your vehicle that is secure, away from excessive heat or water, and allows the sound to project effectively.
- Ensure the mounting surface is flat and strong enough to hold the horn securely.
- Use appropriate fasteners (not included) to attach the horn's mounting bracket to the chosen location. Ensure it is firmly secured to prevent vibration and detachment.

2. Wiring
The siren horn operates on a 12V DC power supply. It has two wires for connection:
- Red Wire: Connect to the positive (+) 12V power source. This can be connected to a switch (not included) for activation.
- Black Wire: Connect to the negative (-) ground of the vehicle chassis.
Important: Ensure all connections are tight and insulated with electrical tape or heat shrink tubing to prevent short circuits. It is recommended to use an inline fuse (not included) on the positive wire for circuit protection.

Operating Instructions
Once properly installed and wired, the siren horn is activated by supplying 12V DC power to the red wire. This is typically done via a momentary switch installed in the vehicle's cabin.
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off before activating the horn for the first time after installation.
- Turn the vehicle's ignition to the "ON" or "ACC" position if required by your wiring setup.
- Press the connected activation switch to sound the siren horn. Release the switch to stop the sound.
Note: The siren produces a continuous sound when activated. It is not designed for musical tones or varied patterns.

The Akozon Electric Red Air Siren Horn Alarm is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Regularly check wiring connections for corrosion or looseness. Ensure the mounting bracket remains secure.
