Setup and Installation

Charging the Alarm Unit

The alarm unit is equipped with a built-in 4.2V 700mAh rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the alarm unit and the USB-A end to a standard USB power adapter (not included).

• During charging, the indicator light on the alarm unit will illuminate.
• Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn off.
• A full charge can provide up to 6 months of standby time or 1-3 months of full power working time, depending on usage.

Remote Control Battery

The remote control uses a replaceable 27A (12V) button cell battery. Under normal usage (5 times per day), the battery is expected to last 1-2 years. If the remote control's range decreases or it becomes unresponsive, replace the battery.

Mounting the Alarm Unit

The NineLeaf alarm unit offers three versatile installation methods to fit seat posts between 0.98 and 1.38 inches in diameter:

1. Zip Ties Installation: Secure the alarm unit to the seat post using the provided zip ties. This method offers a quick and flexible attachment.
2. Bracket Installation: Attach the mounting bracket to the seat post using the screws and hex key, then slide the alarm unit onto the bracket. This provides a more secure and semi-permanent fixture.
3. Double-Sided Tape: For a discreet and direct attachment, use the double-sided tape to adhere the alarm unit to a flat surface on your bicycle or motorcycle. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.

Operating Instructions

Remote Control Functions

The remote control allows easy access to the alarm's various functions. It has a wireless range of approximately 98-196 feet (30-60 meters).

• Arm Button (Lock Icon): Activates the anti-theft alarm. The unit will emit a confirmation sound.
• Disarm Button (Unlock Icon): Deactivates the anti-theft alarm. The unit will emit a confirmation sound.
• Lighting Mode Button (Light Bulb Icon): Cycles through the different tail light modes.
• Bell/Search Function Button (Bell Icon): Activates the bicycle bell sound or helps locate your vehicle by making the alarm sound and light up.

Alarm Modes and Features

4-in-1 Functionality

The NineLeaf alarm integrates multiple functions for comprehensive vehicle security and safety:

• Anti-Theft Alarm: Deters thieves with a loud 110dB alarm triggered by vibration.
• Brake Alarm: Automatically activates a warning light and sound when braking.
• Bicycle Bell: Functions as a horn for signaling.
• Tail Light: Provides rear visibility with various lighting modes.

Intelligent Auto ON/OFF

In intelligent mode, the alarm unit automatically adjusts its operation based on ambient light and motion:

• In dark conditions, if the device stops for more than 30 seconds, it will automatically turn off to conserve power.
• When motion is detected again, the device will automatically turn on.

Brake Alarm Function

The integrated brake sensor detects when you are braking or slowing down. Upon detection, the tail light will immediately turn on brightly for 2 seconds to warn other road users. This feature significantly enhances safety, especially during night rides or in tunnels.

Vibration Alarm and Sensitivity

Light Modes

• Breathing (Auto ON/OFF): A pulsating light effect that also features automatic ON/OFF based on inactivity and motion in dark conditions.

Vehicle Search Function
