2.3 Using & Setting
2.3.1 Activate Before Use
Charge the device fully before its first use for activation.
2.3.2 Multi-function Warning Taillight & Intelligent Brake Sensor Function
- In DISARM mode, press the [Light Mode Button] on the remote or taillight to select one of 6 light modes: Slow Flashing, Breathing, Blinking, Steady Light, Emergency Light, or OFF.
- The light flashes when turned on/off. The number of flowing left/right lights indicates battery level: 4 grids = full, 3 grids = 70%, 2 grids = 40%, 1 grid = 15%. Charge when the battery is at 15%.
- Intelligent Auto Modes: 'Slow Flashing' and 'Breathing' modes automatically adjust based on ambient brightness. The taillight turns off in bright conditions and on in dark conditions. If stationary for over 30 seconds in the dark, it turns off to save power; it reactivates upon detecting vibration when riding resumes.
- Manual Modes: 'Blinking', 'Steady Light', and 'Emergency Light' are not affected by environmental brightness or vibration. 'Emergency Light' is for urgent situations.
- Brake Action: When the taillight is on (except 'Emergency Light' mode), a brake action triggers a 2-second red highlight to alert other drivers, after which it returns to the previous mode.
2.3.3 Turn Signal with Clicking Sound Function
- Press the [Left Turn Light Button] or [Right Turn Light Button] on the remote while riding to activate the corresponding turn signal. The signal features flowing lights and a clicking sound to alert others.
- The turn signal automatically turns off after 2 minutes or can be manually cancelled by pressing the same direction button again, or by pressing the [Arm/Disarm Button] or [Light Mode Button].
- Note: While the turn signal is active, the warning taillight and brake light functions are temporarily disabled.
2.3.4 Electric Bell Function
- In most modes (except arm mode), press the [Electric Bell Button] on the remote to ring the electric bell. Holding the button down rings it multiple times.
- The device offers 3 distinct ringing tones, configurable via the 'Sensitivity & Bell Ringtone Setting'.
2.3.5 Anti-theft Alarm Function
- Arm Mode: Press the [Arm/Disarm Button] on the remote. The taillight will sound 'duo re mi' indicating it's entering arm mode. After 5 seconds, a short 'Bi' sound confirms it has entered arm mode. If vibration is detected, it sounds a 2-second warning. If vibration occurs again within 2-12 seconds, it emits a 30-second alarm to deter thieves. Note that most buttons on the taillight, except the [Arm/Disarm Button] on the remote, are inactive in arm mode.
- Disarm Mode: Press the [Arm/Disarm Button] on the remote to disarm. Pressing the [Light Mode Button] also disarms the unit and turns on the light.
2.3.6 Sensitivity & Bell Ringtone Setting
- Settings cannot be made in arm mode. In disarm mode, press and hold the [Light Mode Button] on the remote until its indicator light turns off and then lights up again. The taillight will beep, indicating entry into the setting program.
- Vibration Sensitivity Setting: Within the setting program, press the [Left/Right Turn Signal Buttons] to select vibration sensitivity levels from 1 to 7. Each press results in a 'Bi' sound from the taillight, and the turn signal light displays the current sensitivity level (Level 7 is the highest).
- Electric Bell Ringtone Setting: Within the setting program, press the [Electric Bell Button] to cycle through 3 ringtones: electric car horn sound, horn sound, and birdcall sound.
- Exit Setting Program: Press any other button on the remote or remain inactive for approximately 10 seconds. The remote indicator light will turn off, exiting the program, and the taillight will also turn off.
2.3.7 Pairing Method
- The alarm taillight and remote are pre-paired. To add more remotes or taillight alarms, follow these steps:
- Turn off the taillight and ensure it's in disarm mode. Press and hold the [Light Mode Button/Pair Button] on the taillight for about 3 seconds. The taillight will sound 'Bi' and the turn signal will show circulating flow, indicating it has entered the pairing program.
- Press any button on the remote control. The taillight will respond with 'BiBi' sounds, confirming successful pairing.
- If the taillight enters the pairing program and does not receive a remote signal for 30 seconds, or if the [Light Mode Button/Pair Button] is pressed again, it will emit a long 'Bi...' sound and exit the program.
- Only one remote can be paired at a time. Repeat the steps to pair additional remotes/taillights.
- The taillight can pair with up to 8 remotes; exceeding this limit will delete the first paired remote.
- Delete Pairing: Use with caution. Turn off the taillight, ensure it's in disarm mode, press and hold the [Light Mode Button/Pair Button] on the taillight for about 3 seconds (entering pairing program). Continue holding for approximately 5 more seconds until a long 'Bi...' sound is heard. All paired remotes will be deleted.
2.3.8 Low Battery Alert & Charging
- Low Battery Alert: When the taillight battery is low, pressing the remote control will trigger a 'tweet' sound from the taillight after 2 seconds of normal operation sounds. The taillight's brightness will also be reduced by half.
- USB Charge: Open the rubber plug at the [USB-C Charge Port]. Charge using an AC adapter or a power bank. The 1-4 grids on the right turn signal indicate battery level (flashing = charging, solid = fully charged).
- You can use the device while charging with a power bank. If a turn signal is activated during charging, the charging indicator will pause and then resume after the turn signal is deactivated.
