Operating Instructions

Learn how to effectively use your Fretta F3000 Edge Max Juicer for optimal results.

  1. Prepare your fruits and vegetables: Wash thoroughly. For best results and to prevent clogging, remove large seeds, pits, and hard skins (e.g., pineapple skin). While the 3-inch chute accommodates large pieces, cutting very fibrous ingredients (like celery) into shorter lengths can improve efficiency.
  2. Select the appropriate speed setting:
    • SOFT: Ideal for softer fruits and vegetables such as oranges, grapes, tomatoes, and leafy greens.
    • HARD: Suitable for harder produce like carrots, apples, ginger, and celery.
Press the "SOFT" or "HARD" button on the control panel to start the juicer.
  3. Slowly feed the prepared ingredients into the feed chute. Use the food pusher to gently guide the produce down. Do not force ingredients into the chute.
  4. If ingredients become jammed or the juicer stops, press the "OFF" button, then press and hold the "REV" (Reverse) button for a few seconds to clear the blockage. Release the "REV" button, then select "SOFT" or "HARD" to resume juicing.
  5. Observe the juice flowing into the juice cup and pulp collecting in the pulp container.
  6. Once juicing is complete, press the "OFF" button and unplug the juicer from the power outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your juicer. All detachable parts are easy to clean.

  1. Immediate Cleaning: For best results, clean the juicer immediately after each use. This prevents pulp and juice residue from drying and sticking.
  2. Disassembly: Ensure the juicer is unplugged. Press the release button (if applicable) and twist the feed chute assembly counter-clockwise to detach it from the motor base. Disassemble the auger, strainer, and feed chute.
  3. Washing Parts: Rinse all detachable parts under running water. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any stubborn pulp from the strainer and other components. All parts are made from BPA-free material for easy cleaning.
  4. Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  5. Drying and Storage: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing. Store the juicer in a clean, dry place.
