This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your STC 5G CPE 5 Router, model H155-383. This device is designed to provide high-speed 5G connectivity, supporting download speeds up to 3.6 Gbps and upload speeds up to 500 Mbps, and is compatible with all networks.

3. Setup Guide
3.1 SIM Card Installation
- Ensure the router is powered off before inserting or removing the SIM card.
- Locate the SIM card slot, typically found on the bottom or side of the device.
- Insert a Nano SIM card into the designated slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly. Push until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the SIM card inward until it springs out.

3.2 Powering On the Router
- Connect the power adapter to the router's power input port.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The router will automatically power on. Wait for the indicator lights (5G, 4G, Status) on the front panel to stabilize, indicating a successful network connection.
3.3 Initial Connection
Once powered on and connected to the cellular network, you can connect your devices:
- Wi-Fi: Locate the default Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and Password printed on the label at the bottom of the router (refer to Figure 3.1). Connect your wireless devices using these credentials.
- Wired: Use the provided Ethernet cable to connect a device (e.g., computer, smart TV) to one of the LAN ports on the back of the router.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Connecting Devices via Wi-Fi
The STC 5G CPE 5 Router supports Dual Wi-Fi 6, allowing multiple devices to connect wirelessly with high speeds.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), open the Wi-Fi settings.
- Scan for available networks.
- Select the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) of your STC router.
- Enter the Wi-Fi Password when prompted.
- Your device should now be connected to the internet.
4.2 Connecting Devices via LAN
For devices requiring a stable wired connection, use the Gigabit Ethernet ports.
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to a LAN port on the back of the router.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your device (e.g., PC, gaming console, smart TV).
- The device should automatically establish a wired network connection.

4.3 Accessing Router Management Interface
To customize settings such as Wi-Fi name, password, or advanced network configurations, access the router's web-based management interface.
- Ensure your device is connected to the router (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
- Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
- In the address bar, type the router's default IP address (e.g., 192.168.8.1, as seen on the bottom label in Figure 3.1) and press Enter.
- Enter the default username and password (also found on the bottom label) when prompted.
- You can now configure your router settings.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Router
- Ensure the router is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the router.
- Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or solvents, as these can damage the device.
- Keep ventilation openings clear of dust and obstructions to ensure proper airflow for the noiseless cooling fan.
5.2 Firmware Updates
Periodically check for firmware updates through the router's web management interface. Firmware updates can improve performance, add new features, and enhance security.
- Access the router's web management interface (refer to Section 4.3).
- Navigate to the "System" or "Firmware Update" section.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to check for and install any available updates. Do not power off the router during an update.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your STC 5G CPE 5 Router, try the following steps:
- No Internet Connection:
- Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated.
- Verify that the 5G/4G indicator light on the router is stable.
- Restart the router by unplugging the power adapter, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in.
- Ensure your service provider has active 5G/4G coverage in your area.
- Slow Wi-Fi Speed:
- Ensure your device supports Wi-Fi 6 for optimal performance.
- Reduce the distance between your device and the router.
- Minimize interference from other electronic devices.
- Check if too many devices are connected simultaneously (router supports up to 128 users, but performance can vary).
- Cannot Access Management Interface:
- Confirm your device is connected to the router's network.
- Double-check the IP address (e.g., 192.168.8.1) and login credentials.
- Try a different web browser.
- Router Not Powering On:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the router and a working power outlet.
- Test the power outlet with another device.
