Setup

1. Connecting the Keyboard

The LEOBOG A75 supports three connection modes: Wired (USB Type-C), 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Wired Connection:

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  3. The keyboard will be automatically recognized and ready for use.

2.4GHz Wireless Connection:

  1. Locate the 2.4GHz USB receiver (often stored in a magnetic slot on the keyboard).
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. On the keyboard, slide the mode switch to the '2.4G' position.
  4. The keyboard should connect automatically.

Bluetooth Connection:

  1. On the keyboard, slide the mode switch to the 'BT' position.
  2. Press and hold Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 for 3-5 seconds to enter pairing mode for the desired Bluetooth channel. The indicator light will flash rapidly.
  3. On your device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
  4. Select 'LEOBOG A75' from the list of available devices to pair.
  5. Once paired, the indicator light will stop flashing. You can switch between up to 3 paired Bluetooth devices using Fn + 1/2/3.

2. Operating System Switching (Win/Mac)

Use the dedicated switch on the keyboard to toggle between Windows and Mac compatibility modes. This ensures correct key mapping for your operating system.

Operating Instructions

1. Multifunction Knob

The knob provides quick control over various functions:

  • Long Press: Switch between gaming mode and office mode.
  • Rotate: Adjust RGB brightness (in lighting mode) or system volume (in audio mode).
  • Short Press: Cycle through 16 different lighting effects or mute/unmute audio.

4. Battery Management

The LEOBOG A75 is equipped with a 4000mAh lithium battery.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  2. Removing Switches: Use a switch puller (not included, but commonly available) to carefully extract the switch from the PCB. Ensure the switch is pulled straight to avoid bending pins.
  3. Installing Switches: Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Press down gently until the switch clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
  4. Installing Keycaps: Align the keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it is seated.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding:
    • Check the connection mode switch (Wired, 2.4G, BT) is set correctly.
    • For wired connection, ensure the USB cable is securely connected.
    • For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is plugged in and the keyboard is in 2.4G mode.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired and selected on your device. Try re-pairing if necessary.
    • Check battery level; charge the keyboard if the FN key is flashing red.
  • Keys not registering or double-typing:
    • Ensure switches are properly seated. Remove the keycap and gently press down on the switch.
    • If a specific switch is faulty, consider hot-swapping it with a new one.
  • RGB lighting not working or incorrect:
    • Adjust brightness using the multifunction knob or FN key combinations.
    • Cycle through lighting effects with a short press of the knob.
    • If using custom profiles, ensure the driver software is running and correctly configured.
  • Bluetooth connection issues:
    • Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing mode (FN + 1/2/3 for 3-5 seconds).
