Setup
Connection Method
The Incott G23 Series Gaming Mouse supports both wired and wireless connectivity.

Figure 3: Connection Methods
- Wired Mode: Use the provided USB-C charging cable to connect the mouse directly to any USB port on your computer.
- Wireless Mode (1K Version): Connect the 1K USB wireless receiver to your computer via the provided cable.
- Wireless Mode (8K Version): Connect the 8K receiver to your computer via the provided cable.
8K Pairing Steps
Follow these steps to pair your 8K receiver with the mouse:
- When the mouse is in the off state, press and hold buttons 1, 2, and 3 simultaneously.
- While performing Step 1, toggle the bottom switch (Button 7) to the 'ON' position.
- The indicator light on top of the mouse will first flash blue, then turn yellow. Release the buttons when the yellow light starts flashing.
- The yellow light will continue to flash. Then, connect the 8K dongle to your computer's USB port using the USB cable, keeping the mouse close to the receiver. Once the connection is successful, you'll be able to move and operate the mouse.
Note: If the mouse's indicator light flashes red and yellow, it means it is in 1K pairing mode. To switch back to 8K mode, turn off the mouse, hold button 4 while in the "OFF" position, then switch button 7 back to "ON". If the light continues to flash yellow, repeat the above steps to pair with 8K mode.
Caution: The receiver should not be plugged into the computer's USB port during the pairing process. Connect the receiver only after completing steps 1, 2, and 3 when the mouse indicator is flashing yellow.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Incott G23 Series Gaming Mouse, consider the following common solutions:
- Connectivity Issues: Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a functioning USB port. For wireless mode, confirm the mouse is within 20 cm of the receiver.
- Interference: If experiencing erratic cursor movement or responsiveness issues, try moving the mouse and receiver further away from other 2.4 GHz wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones).
- Low Battery: The mouse features a 500mAh battery with up to 143 hours of life (at 1K polling rate). If performance degrades, charge the mouse using the USB-C cable. Fast charging allows for a full charge in approximately 50 minutes.
- DPI/Polling Rate Settings: Incorrect DPI or polling rate settings can affect mouse behavior. Refer to the "DPI and Polling Rate Switch" section to adjust these settings to your preference.
- Switch Performance: If a mouse button feels unresponsive or double-clicks, consider replacing the microswitch using the hot-swap feature.
