Setup Guide

1. Connecting the Audio Interface

  1. Connect the MAONO PS22 Lite to your computer (PC or Mac) using the provided USB cable. Ensure the connection is secure.
  2. For microphones, connect your XLR dynamic or condenser microphone to the XLR input port on the interface. If using a condenser microphone, activate the 48V phantom power switch on the interface.
  3. For instruments, connect your guitar or other high-impedance musical instrument to the dedicated instrument input.
  4. Connect your headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack for direct monitoring.

2. Software Installation

The MAONO PS22 Lite utilizes the ProStudio Routing Software for advanced control and routing. It is also compatible with ASIO drivers for low-latency performance on Windows systems.

Operating Instructions

Microphone Usage

The PS22 Lite provides up to 56 dB of preamp gain, suitable for both condenser and dynamic microphones. Ensure 48V phantom power is enabled for condenser microphones.

The microphone features an inner double layer pop filter and cardioid pickup pattern for effective noise reduction, ensuring clean and natural vocal audio.

Instrument Input

Connect your guitar or other musical instruments to the dedicated input. Adjust the impedance as needed within the ProStudio software or on the device for optimal sound.

ProStudio Routing Software and Loopback

If you encounter issues with your MAONO PS22 Lite, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
