4. Setup Guide

4.1 Powering the Clock

1. Connect Power: Plug the included power adapter into the DC 5V port on the back of the clock and then into a wall outlet. The display will light up.
2. Install Battery Backup (Optional): Open the battery compartment on the back. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. This will maintain time settings and alarm function during power interruptions, but the display will not stay on when powered only by batteries.

4.2 Setting the Time

1. Press and hold the TIME SET button on the back of the clock. The hour digits will flash.
2. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to adjust the hour and minute respectively.
3. Press TIME SET again to confirm and exit time setting mode.
4. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats, briefly press the 12H/24H button.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting Alarms

1. Press and hold AL.1 SET (for Alarm 1) or AL.2 SET (for Alarm 2). The hour digits will flash.
2. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the desired alarm time.
3. Press AL.1 SET or AL.2 SET again to confirm.
4. To activate/deactivate an alarm, briefly press AL.1 ON/OFF or AL.2 ON/OFF. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.

5.2 Adjusting Alarm Volume

1. While the alarm is sounding, press the VOL button repeatedly to cycle through 5 volume levels (L01 to L05).
2. The selected volume level will be saved for future alarms.

5.3 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, gently touch the SNOOZE area on the top of the clock to activate snooze. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes and then sound again.

5.4 Dimmable Display

To manually adjust for Daylight Saving Time, briefly press the DST ON/OFF button on the back of the clock. The time will adjust by one hour forward or backward.
