Welcome to the user manual for your SPC Wild 4G Basic Mobile Phone. Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that the following items are included: SPC Wild phone, battery, USB Type-C charging cable, and power adapter. Inspect the phone for any visible damage.

2. Installing the SIM Card and Battery

  1. Open the back cover: Locate the notch on the side or bottom of the phone and gently pry open the back cover.
  2. Insert SIM card(s): The SPC Wild supports Dual SIM. Locate the SIM card slots. Insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slots with the gold contacts facing down and the cut corner aligned as shown in the diagram. Ensure they are securely seated.
  3. Insert MicroSD card (optional): If you wish to expand storage, insert a MicroSD card into its dedicated slot.
  4. Insert the battery: Place the Lithium-ion battery into the battery compartment, ensuring the contacts align with those on the phone.
  5. Close the back cover: Align the back cover and press firmly around the edges until it clicks into place.

3. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the phone's battery.

  1. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the phone.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the power adapter.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  4. The phone will indicate charging status on its screen. Allow the phone to charge completely before disconnecting.

Note: Use only the provided charger and cable to avoid damage to the device.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power/End Call button until the screen lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/End Call button, then select "Power Off" from the options on the screen.

2. Basic Navigation

Use the directional navigation keys (up, down, left, right) and the central OK/Select button to navigate through menus and confirm selections. The left and right soft keys (located directly below the screen) perform functions indicated by the text above them.

3. Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Enter the phone number using the keypad and press the Call button (green handset icon).
  • To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, press the Call button (green handset icon) to answer.
  • To End a Call: Press the End Call button (red handset icon).

4. Sending and Receiving Messages

  • Navigate to the "Messages" menu.
  • Select "New Message" to compose a text message.
  • Enter the recipient's number or select from contacts, then type your message.
  • Press "Send".

5. SOS Button Functionality

The SOS button is located on the back of the phone. In an emergency, press and hold this button for a few seconds. The phone will automatically call and send an emergency SMS to pre-set contacts.

Setting SOS Contacts: Access the "SOS Settings" menu to add or modify emergency contacts. Ensure these contacts are reliable and aware they are designated as emergency contacts.

6. Camera Usage

To access the camera, navigate to the "Camera" application from the main menu. Use the central OK/Select button to take photos. Photos are saved to the phone's internal memory or the inserted MicroSD card.

7. FM Radio and Flashlight

  • FM Radio: Access the "FM Radio" application. You may need to connect headphones (not included) to act as an antenna for optimal reception.
  • Flashlight: The flashlight can usually be activated by a dedicated key or through a shortcut in the menu. Refer to the on-screen prompts for specific activation.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Phone

Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the phone's exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the phone's finish or internal components.

2. Battery Care

  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
  • Do not puncture, disassemble, or modify the battery.
  • If the battery appears damaged or swollen, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it properly.
  • For optimal battery longevity, avoid frequently draining the battery completely or keeping it at 100% charge for extended periods.

3. Software Updates

The SPC Wild operates on Nucleus OS. Software updates, if available, will be communicated by SPC. Follow any instructions provided for updating the device's firmware to ensure optimal performance and security.
