Setup and Installation

The Karinear Electric Cooktop offers two installation methods:

1. Countertop Use

For countertop use, attach the four included foot brackets to the bottom of the cooktop. These brackets are typically found in a clear plastic bag within the packaging. Once attached, the cooktop can be placed directly on a stable, flat surface.

2. Built-in Installation (Drop-in)

For a built-in installation, ensure your counter has a cutout of the specified dimensions. This method provides a seamless and space-saving integration into your kitchen.

Operating Instructions

The cooktop features two independent heating zones with touch controls.

Power Levels:

• Large Burner (1400W): Offers 1-9 adjustable power levels for fast heating and general cooking.
• Small Burner (600W): Features two power levels, "L" (Low) and "HI" (High), suitable for slow heating, keeping food warm, or heating beverages like milk and coffee.

Functions:

• Child Safety Lock: Press and hold '+' and '-' simultaneously until the screen displays "Lo" to activate. This prevents accidental operation. Repeat the action to unlock.
• 99 Mins Timer: Set a cooking duration up to 99 minutes. The cooktop will automatically shut off when the timer expires.
• Pause Function: Temporarily pause cooking without losing your settings. Press the pause button to resume.
• Residual Heat Indication: An "H" will appear on the display when the surface is hot after use, indicating residual heat. Do not touch until the "H" disappears.
• Auto Shutdown: The cooktop will automatically shut down after a period of inactivity or if an error is detected.

Compatible Cookware:

The ceramic cooktop is compatible with various types of cookware, including stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and ceramic pots and pans. Ensure the cookware has a flat bottom for optimal heat transfer.
