4. Setup
4.1 Installation Location
Choose a suitable location for installation, considering the desired viewing area and proximity to your network video recorder (NVR) or PoE switch. The camera is IP66 waterproof, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
4.2 Mounting the Camera
- Mark the drilling positions on the wall or ceiling using the camera's base as a template.
- Drill holes and insert the wall plugs if mounting on masonry.
- Secure the camera base using the provided screws.
- Adjust the camera angle as needed.
4.3 Connecting to an NVR (PoE)
This camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing both power and data transmission through a single Ethernet cable. A PoE switch or PoE NVR is required (not included).
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the camera's RJ45 port. Use the waterproof connector for outdoor installations.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a PoE port on your NVR or PoE switch.
- If not using PoE, connect a 12V DC power adapter (not included) to the camera's DC 12V power port and connect the RJ45 port to your network via a standard Ethernet cable.
- Connect your NVR to a monitor/TV via HDMI or VGA, and ensure it is powered on.

4.4 Network Configuration
The camera is compatible with multiple 6MP/4K H.265 PoE NVRs, including Hikvision, LTS, Dahua, Uniview, TVT, and Raysharp. It also supports third-party software like Milestone, Blue Iris, and iSpy. Refer to your NVR or software manual for specific network detection and configuration steps. The camera supports H.265/H.264 compression (H.265 by default).
5. Operating
5.1 Live View and Recording
Once connected to your NVR or surveillance software, you can access the live video feed. Configure recording schedules and motion detection settings through your NVR's interface or the compatible software.
5.2 Night Vision Modes
The camera features Smart Dual Light Color Night Vision, offering flexible options for low-light conditions:
- IR Night Vision (Infrared Mode): Provides clear black and white video in complete darkness using infrared LEDs.
- Smart Color Night Vision: When the camera detects a person or vehicle, the built-in white lights activate, and the video switches to full-color mode, capturing more details.
- 24H Full Color Night Vision: The white lights remain on continuously, providing full-color video day and night. This mode can be selected based on your preference.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image/video feed | No power; Network connection issue; NVR/software not configured correctly. | Check power supply (PoE or 12V DC adapter). Verify Ethernet cable connection. Ensure NVR/software detects the camera and is configured for the correct IP address. |
| Poor image quality | Dirty lens; Insufficient lighting; Incorrect resolution settings. | Clean the camera lens. Ensure adequate lighting or enable appropriate night vision mode. Check resolution settings on NVR/software. |
| Two-way talk not working | Microphone/speaker disabled; Volume too low; Network latency. | Check audio settings on NVR/software to ensure microphone and speaker are enabled and volume is adequate. Verify network stability. |
| False motion alerts | Sensitivity too high; Environmental factors (e.g., moving branches). | Adjust motion detection sensitivity settings on your NVR/software. Utilize AI Human/Vehicle Detection to filter out irrelevant movements. |
