Installation Guide
The Yeolet Y58 lock is designed for easy installation on standard US doors. A screwdriver is typically the only tool required.
Door Preparation:
- Ensure your door thickness is between 1.38" and 1.78".
- Verify the backset (distance from door edge to center of bore hole) is 2-3/8" or 2-3/4".
- Confirm the hole diameter is 2-1/8" (54mm).

Installation Steps:
- Install the deadbolt latch into the door edge.
- Attach the exterior keypad assembly, ensuring the cable passes through the door.
- Secure the mounting plate to the door.
- Connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the interior deadbolt assembly.
- Mount the interior deadbolt assembly to the mounting plate.
- Install 4 AA batteries (not included) into the interior assembly.
- Test the lock's functionality with a mechanical key and by pressing the keypad.

Unlocking Methods:

- Anti-Peeking Password: To enhance security, you can enter random digits before and after your actual password. For example, if your password is '123456', you can enter '987123456321#'.
- Mechanical Key: In case of emergency or battery depletion, use the provided mechanical key to unlock the deadbolt. The keyhole is discreetly located.
- App Control:
- Download the "Smart Life" app.
- Pair your lock with the app via Bluetooth.
- For remote control and advanced features (e.g., generating one-time codes, viewing access logs, setting holiday mode), a compatible Wi-Fi Gateway (sold separately) is required.
