Setup

1. Pre-Repair Preparation

• Thoroughly clean the dented area to remove any dust, dirt, or oil.
• If the ambient temperature is low, gently heat the dented area with a hairdryer or warm water. This helps prevent the glue from setting too quickly and ensures optimal adhesion.

2. Glue Gun Preparation

• Insert a glue stick into the 100W glue gun.
• Plug in the glue gun and allow it to heat for 3-5 minutes until the glue flows smoothly. Ensure the glue stick is fully melted for the best bond.

Operating Instructions

1. Dent Identification

To accurately locate and assess the dent, use the provided line board. The reflection of the lines on the car's surface will distort at the dent, making it easier to identify the exact boundaries.

2. Applying Glue and Tabs

• Select an appropriate glue tab based on the size and shape of the dent. Use smaller tabs for small dents and larger tabs for bigger dents.
• Apply a sufficient amount of hot glue to the center of the selected tab.
• Immediately place the tab onto the center of the dent and press firmly for 1-2 minutes to ensure a strong bond as the glue cools.

3. Dent Pulling Techniques

Choose the appropriate tool based on the dent size:

• For Large Dents (T-Bar Puller): Attach the appropriate glue tab to the dent. Hook the T-Bar puller onto the tab and slide the hammer back and forth to pull the dent. Repeat until the surface is restored.
• For Medium Dents (Bridge Puller): Attach the appropriate glue tab. Place the bridge puller over the tab, hook it, and slowly turn the knob to apply upward pressure. Do not press the handle energetically; press it slowly and operate many times.
• For Small Dents (Dent Lifter): Attach the appropriate glue tab. Position the dent lifter over the tab and slowly squeeze the handles to lift the dent. Do not press the handle energetically; press it slowly and operate many times.

4. Glue Removal

• After the dent is repaired, spray 95% alcohol onto the residual glue.
• Wait for 40-60 seconds (or 2-3 minutes for stubborn glue) to allow the alcohol to soften the glue.
• Use the plastic scraper or your hand to gently peel off the softened glue.

Applicable & Non-Applicable Areas

This kit is designed for specific types of dents and surfaces:

• Applicable Areas: Flat, soft metal panels, small shallow dents on single-layer steel without inner lining.
• Non-Applicable Areas: Edges, corners, reinforced areas, aluminum or high-strength steel, or panels with paint cracks or prior repairs. This kit is for light cosmetic fixes only, not deep or structural damage.

Maintenance

• Clean all tools thoroughly after each use to remove any glue residue or dirt.
• Store the kit components in a dry, cool place to prevent damage and prolong their lifespan.

Troubleshooting

• Dent not pulling: Ensure the glue gun is fully heated and the glue stick is completely melted. Re-clean the surface and reapply the tab, ensuring firm pressure for 1-2 minutes. Consider using a stronger glue tab (e.g., black for thinner paint, yellow for thicker paint).
• Glue not adhering: The surface may not be clean enough, or the temperature may be too low. Re-clean the area and preheat the dent as instructed in the setup section.
• Paint damage: This kit is designed for paintless dent repair. If paint damage occurs, it may be due to improper surface preparation, excessive force, or attempting repair on non-applicable areas (e.g., areas with existing paint damage or on aluminum/high-strength steel).
