2. Important Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury. This unit is DOE and TUV certified for energy efficiency and safety.

• Ensure the unit is placed on a level, stable surface.
• Do not block air inlets or outlets.
• Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation.

4. Setup

4.1 Unboxing and Placement

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Ensure all packing materials are removed. Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface in the desired location. For optimal performance, ensure there is at least 8 inches of space around the unit for proper airflow.

4.2 Initial Power-On

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode. Press the Power button to turn on the dehumidifier.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Functions

• Power Button: Turns the unit On/Off.
• Humidity Setting Button: Adjusts the desired humidity level from 30% to 80% RH.
• Mode Button: Cycles through Dehumidifying Mode, Drying Mode, and Continuous Mode.
• Fan Speed Button: Selects between Low and High fan speeds.
• Timer Button: Sets the 24-hour On/Off timer.
• Child Lock Button: Activates/deactivates the child lock feature to prevent unintended changes.
• Full Indicator Light: Illuminates when the water tank is full, and the unit will automatically shut off.

5.2 Operating Modes

• Dehumidifying Mode: Removes moisture based on the set humidity level.
• Drying Mode: Optimized for drying clothes.

5.3 Special Features

• Auto Defrost: Automatically defrosts the coils in low temperatures to maintain efficiency.
• Power-Off Memory: The unit resumes previous settings after a power outage.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Emptying the Water Tank

When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and the 'Full' indicator light will illuminate. Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit and empty it. Reinsert the tank firmly until it clicks into place.

6.2 Continuous Drainage

For continuous drainage, connect the included 3.3 ft drain hose to the continuous drain outlet at the rear of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a suitable drain or bucket. Make sure the drain plug is tightened when using the water tank to prevent leaks.

6.3 Cleaning the Air Filter

The detachable, washable filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks or as needed) to ensure optimal performance. Remove the filter from the rear of the unit, wash it with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.

• Unit does not turn on: Check power connection, ensure the power button is pressed, and verify the water tank is not full.
• No water collected: Ensure the humidity setting is lower than the current room humidity, check for blocked air inlets/outlets, or verify the continuous drain hose is properly installed and not clogged.
• Unit is noisy: Ensure the unit is on a level surface. While operating, the unit has a minimum noise level of 33 dB, which is considered quiet for a dehumidifier.
• Frost on coils: The unit has an automatic defrost function. If frost persists, ensure the room temperature is within the operating range (above 41°F).
