1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the TICYACK Handheld Steam Cleaner. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always ensure the power cord is fully unwound and free from kinks before use.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Keep the steam cleaner out of reach of children and pets.
  • Exercise extreme caution when using hot steam. Avoid direct contact with skin or eyes.
  • Do not open the water tank cap while the unit is hot or pressurized. Allow the unit to cool down completely before refilling. This is a built-in safety feature.
  • Use only clean tap water. Do not add cleaning solutions, perfumes, or other chemicals to the water tank, as this may damage the unit or create hazardous fumes.
  • Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use and before cleaning or performing maintenance.

3. Setup

  1. Prepare the Unit: Place the steam cleaner on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Fill Water Tank: Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool. Unscrew the safety cap counter-clockwise. Use the provided measuring cup and funnel to fill the water tank with 350-400ml of clean tap water. Do not overfill. Screw the safety cap back on tightly.

  3. Attach Accessories: Select the appropriate accessory for your cleaning task and firmly attach it to the nozzle. Ensure it clicks into place securely.

  4. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating up.

  5. Wait for Heating: The unit will be ready for use in approximately 3-5 minutes when the indicator light turns off, indicating optimal steam pressure.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the unit is heated, you can begin cleaning. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, especially on delicate surfaces.

4.1 Manual Steaming

Press and hold the steam button on the handle to release steam. Release the button to stop the steam flow.

4.2 Automatic Steaming (Hands-Free)

For continuous steam without holding the button:

  1. Press the steam button.
  2. While holding the button, push the lock key forward to engage the continuous steam function.
  3. To disengage, push the lock key backward and release the steam button.

4.3 Cleaning Tips for Various Surfaces

  • Kitchen Surfaces (Stovetops, Countertops): Use the round brushes or extended nozzle for grease and grime.
  • Bathroom (Tiles, Grout, Toilets): The bent nozzle is ideal for hard-to-reach areas. Use a brush for grout lines.
  • Windows and Glass: Attach the glass cleaning accessory for streak-free results.
  • Upholstery and Fabrics: Use the fabric cleaning accessory with a microfiber pad. Hold the nozzle a few inches away to avoid oversaturation.
  • Car Interiors: The various nozzles and brushes are effective for cleaning car seats, dashboards, and wheels.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steam cleaner.

5.1 After Each Use

  • Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Carefully unscrew the safety cap and empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
  • Clean accessories with water and mild soap if necessary, and allow them to air dry.

5.2 Descaling (Monthly or as Needed)

To prevent mineral buildup, especially in hard water areas:

  1. Ensure the unit is cool and empty.
  2. Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water.
  3. Pour the solution into the water tank (do not exceed 300ml).
  4. Allow the solution to sit in the tank for 30 minutes to an hour.
  5. Empty the solution and rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water several times.
  6. Fill with clean water and operate the steamer for a few minutes to flush out any remaining residue.

5.3 Storage

Store the steam cleaner and its accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TICYACK Handheld Steam Cleaner, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
