4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Filling the Clean Water Tank: Remove the clean water tank (1.6 L capacity). Fill it with clean tap water. For optimal steam cleaning, distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent limescale buildup. Do not add cleaning agents to this tank unless specifically designed for steam cleaners and approved by ETA.
- Attaching Accessories: Select the appropriate cleaning attachment for your task. Securely attach it to the hose handle until it clicks into place.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The appliance has a 5m power cable for extended reach.
5. Operating Instructions
The ETA Steam Clean offers 4 cleaning modes for versatile use:
- Cold Water Aspiration: For vacuuming liquids without heat.
- Hot Water (60°C): For enhanced cleaning power on tough stains.
- Steam: For disinfection and dissolving grease and dirt.
- Steam Cleaning: Combines steam and suction for deep cleaning and drying.
5.1. Powering On and Mode Selection
- Press the power button on the LED touch screen to turn on the appliance.
- The LED display will show indicator lights for heating and steam/hot water readiness.
- Select your desired cleaning mode using the touch controls. Steam generation is very fast, approximately 30 seconds.

5.3. Continuous Operation
The appliance features a convenient opening for continuous refilling of the clean water tank during operation, minimizing interruptions.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
6.1. After Each Use
- Empty Dirty Water Tank: The appliance has a 1.3 L dirty water tank. Empty and rinse it thoroughly after each use to prevent odors and bacterial growth. A safety prevention mechanism protects against overfilling.
- Clean Clean Water Tank: Empty any remaining water from the clean water tank and rinse it.
- Self-Cleaning Function: Utilize the integrated self-cleaning function as indicated in the manual to maintain internal components.
- Clean Accessories: Detach and clean all used accessories with water. Allow them to air dry completely before storage.
