3. Setup
3.1 Wired Connection
To connect the keyboard via a wired connection:
- Locate the USB-C port on the keyboard.
- Connect one end of the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will be automatically recognized and ready for use.
3.2 Bluetooth Pairing
The Realforce RC1 supports Bluetooth connectivity for up to four devices. To pair a device:
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- On your device (computer, smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- On the keyboard, press and hold the Fn key along with one of the Bluetooth profile keys (Fn+1, Fn+2, Fn+3, or Fn+4) for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light for that profile starts blinking rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
- Select "Realforce RC1" from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your device.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking and remain solid once connected.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Key Layout and Switches
The Realforce RC1 features a 75% form factor, providing a compact layout while retaining essential keys. It utilizes genuine Topre capacitive switches, known for their unique tactile feel and durability. This specific model is equipped with Silent 45g switches, offering a quiet typing experience.

4.2 Actuation Point Changer (APC)
The APC feature allows you to adjust the actuation point of the Topre switches to one of four levels: 0.8mm, 1.5mm, 2.2mm, and 3.0mm. This customization can optimize the key switch response speed for different tasks, such as high-speed typing or gaming. Refer to the dedicated software for detailed APC configuration.

6. Maintenance

- Keyboard not responding (Bluetooth): Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keyboard is within range. Re-attempt the pairing process (Section 3.2). Ensure the correct Bluetooth profile (Fn+1/2/3/4) is selected.
- Intermittent connection: Move the keyboard closer to your device. Ensure there are no major obstructions or sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices) between the keyboard and your device.
7.2 Typing Issues
- Keys not registering: Ensure the keyboard is properly connected and powered on. If using wireless, check battery level. Clean any debris from under the affected keycaps.
- Incorrect characters: Check your operating system's keyboard layout settings. If using the customization software, ensure no unintended key remappings are active.
