Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Blink Video Doorbell:

  2. Download Blink App: Download the "Blink Home Monitor" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS, Android, or Fire OS).
  3. Create Account: Open the app and create a new Blink account or log in to an existing one.
  4. Add Sync Module Core: In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Sync Module Core" and follow the on-screen instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n).
  5. Add Video Doorbell: Once the Sync Module Core is set up, add the Video Doorbell to your system through the app.

    • Wire-Free Installation: Use the provided wall plate and mounting kit to secure the doorbell to your desired location.

Using the Blink App

The Blink Home Monitor app is your primary interface for controlling and monitoring your Video Doorbell.

  • Live View: Access a real-time video feed from your doorbell camera.
  • Two-Way Audio: Speak and listen to visitors through the app.
  • Motion Detection: Configure motion detection zones and sensitivity settings to receive alerts.
  • Notifications: Receive alerts on your smartphone when the doorbell button is pressed or motion is detected.
  • Video History: View recorded clips (requires Blink Subscription Plan).
