3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the camera.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert the two included AA rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 SD Card Installation

The camera supports SD cards up to 256GB (SD card not included).

  1. Locate the SD card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. For first-time use, it is highly recommended to format the SD card within the camera's settings to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.

3.3 Attaching Accessories

External Microphone

Attach the external microphone to the camera's hot shoe mount and connect the microphone cable to the MIC input port.

Handheld Stabilizer

Attach the foldable handheld stabilizer to the bottom tripod mount of the camera. Adjust the stabilizer to your desired angle for steady recording.

Lens Hood

Attach the lens hood to the front of the camera lens. The lens hood helps to block excess light and protect the lens from accidental damage.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power button located on the camera to turn it on or off.

4.2 Basic Recording (Video & Photo)

The camera supports 5K video recording at 30FPS and 48MP photo capture.

  • To record video: Press the Record button to start recording. Press it again to stop.
  • To take a photo: Switch to photo mode (if applicable) and press the Shutter button.

Use the zoom controls on the camera to digitally zoom in or out up to 16X.

4.5 IR Night Vision

4.6 WiFi Connectivity & App Usage

The camera supports WiFi wireless transmission. Download the "iSmart DV2" app on your Android or iOS smartphone/tablet.

  1. Enable WiFi on the camera.

  3. Open the "iSmart DV2" app to browse images, transfer files, share content, or remote control the camera.

4.7 Webcam Function
